Tail Fin

For the Tail Fin shoot for Virgin Atlantic, I had to do makeup on our model who would be under water for most of the day. This was a challenge that I was happy to accept! Lots of makeup brands now do “Waterproof formulas” but I didn’t want to risk them not working on the day so I went to my local Lido in October to test it out! I also used the setting spray that the Olympic Swimmers use to set their makeup. I tested out a few others too.

The makeup lasted well all day but once underwater the makeup was completely cancelled out by the blue so I had to do go rather heavy handed on the blush and the lip in order for it to work.

The images for this were in Piccadilly circus which was amazing.It was so fun to see my work up on the big screens.
